photoblog image The only One.....

The only One.....

Okay I admit it...I searched through my archive and ..................."I've got nothing"...I have been so out of it and been experimenting a whole lot....Went through several images and was so unsure of myself because I didn't want to put crap up. But I thought what the heck..............A GIRL'S GOTTA DO WHAT A GIRL'S GOTTA DO!!!! If you don't take a chance you'll never know. But I do love this though...for some wierd reason....so go on people, say what you think..I've got tough skin ;)

hey not your usual post
cool stuff
nice selective focus
i think the focus could have been better positioned in the frame
an example is the rule of thirds
Ada Emihe: Thanks Draw....I agree with you. I saw the shot and kicked myself for like 5mins..but I'm ok now. Rules! I break those very often.smile
It's good. A bit different from all those portraits but I'm not complaining. As Ade says, good use of DoF.
Ada Emihe: Thanks Ian...I do agree it's so different from my usual stuff..lol.and I am glad you are not complaining..

I feel exactly the same way with almost all of my posts!!LOL. its amazing what you find you have overlooked though when you traawl through the archives and this is a prime example, a wonderful shot love the conversion and the DOF.
Ada Emihe: You do? You know I have gone through your archive and find it hard to believe that you ever feel that way...You need to give me a few pointers. I really love your work, it's inspiring and makes me want to do more.
I think that is is delightful, Ada, and works so well in b&w
Ada Emihe: Thank you so much Chad...
I think it is delightful! Hope you feel confident enough to put up more of your `nothing` photographs. (:o)
Ada Emihe: Thank you so much Rosalyn..I hope so too. Pleasure having you on here.

Very striking, and I agree that it's really rather lovely. The monotone works so well smile
Ada Emihe: Thanks so much Floog!

All that matters is YOU, Ada, and I realize that more with every day! If YOU like it, that's all that matters!
Ada Emihe: Thank you so much Ginnie. Nice having you on here.

AH, you are so right, a girl has to do what a girl has to do....just love that and you know what, I like this picture very much, love the B&W and it is like Ginnie says, if YOU like it...that is important...wink
Ada Emihe: lol..Thanks so much Astrid..really encouraging words.
We are not fans of flower shots (even when we take them ourselves) but there is something about this shot we like, very dark and brooding, but with some hope still there smile Now this is you inspiring us smile
Ada Emihe: Thank you so much Suby and Sinem..

I think it is lovely. The first thought I got seeing it was "this is how a bee sees it" (like an insect focused on what flower I will visit next, hehe) I think B&W works well with this too. Very nice, peaceful photograph.
Ada Emihe: Thank you so much Suri...Flowers have been a really ify thing to me..so right now I am trying to find a balance between images of flowers looking dramatic and beautiful....If this is how Bees see itr..then I definitely want their eyes..lol
