I got some interesting feeds from my last featured photo. Thanks ya'll for all the comments and advice you all gave, Suby and Sinem, and the two Richards, thanks for advice on shoot directing.

All the shots I will be featuring are for you guys to appreciate, as well as tell me what I did wrong, what I did right and how I can do better next time. SO THANKS YOU GUYS IN ADVANCE!

Okay, I am kinda careful about selective coloring..I feel it works well with only some photos (very few..in my opinion. Shouldn't be a major option in a photograph)...but I was so intrigued by that tiny mango from miami, (the picture on the right) that I wanted to let it stay yellow. I was trying to focus on two things in both photographs. Like I said I am experimenting and learning so keep it coming people. Thanks ya'll and have a superb day.

I'm more interested in the person ... the selective colouring is an unneccesary distraction.

Ada Emihe: thanku richard...
Eeeck now this is an image the benefits from the selective colouring by 0%. Mango from Miami, eehhhh, ANND....

Mango a little overblown to see, does it even look like a Mango, not really, does it make it the focal point of the image or an important part of the image, NO. Does it add to the story? NO. For us, the focal point is the girl, the mango is a distraction, more so in colour.

Your black and white conversions are impressively quite good, now we just need the images you capture and compose to catch up to the quality of your conversions.
Ada Emihe: feel u...feel u guys,,,,thanks..

B&W conversion is spot on, but d mango or lime does not really sit well with the whole picture. U flying high tho...
Ada Emihe: ese gan...
Besides the selective coloring which I find distracting too, I really like your B&W conversion and the lighting. The expressions are quite interesting!

i'm not easily distracted by selective coloring

for me it makes the shot less generic

that said, it wasn't needed in this shot unless you were advertising mangos from maimi

is that you in the pix, you look different from what i pictured from your other self portraits
Ada Emihe: lol...not me in the pic. thanks.
