My Diversion

Ok...I decided to veer off the baseball high way for a little bit. But I still have a few more to share with you. Reading is one of my favorite pass times. I read everything and anything...If it's readable, I'll read it. The last book I read was "The other boelyn girl"....I know, I know the movie is out on DVD but I would rather read it than watch it. That's what I did for all the harry porter series. I have all seven books...good stuff I tell you; if you are into that sort of thing. The book I'm reading now is called "Become a better You" by Joel Osteen. Read anything interesting lately?

Took this picture at central park. I took out the color information, felt it was stronger in black and white. let me know what you think.

For me this is your best shot yet ... I've no real interest in Baseball (we call it rounders in England and it is played by kids at school under the age of 11)
Ha ! ...just a joking with you.
I really believe your black and white stuff works really well ... and I agree with the comments made about your converse shot. Heck ... I used to play basketball up till the end of the 70's and we wore converse for what they were originally designed. cheers richard
Ada Emihe: Thanks so much Richard...can I tell you a secret! I do not see the point in baseball. If it's not soccer then it doesn't make sense to me. wink.....I love converse, most comfortable foot wear I have ever worn. You played basket ball? Have any old pictures of you playing? smile
This is your best shot so far for me. You did a great B&W conversion job. Lighting and contrast are excelent!
Well done Ada, bring some more.
Ada Emihe: Thanks Richard...I am so happy you like this..Have some more for, don't worry
Love this shot Ada - she looks lost in the book! Well captured smile!

One book I read recently is "Ensayo sobre la ceguera" by Jose Saramago. It's in Spanish but you can now get the English translation which is called "Blindness". Absolutely mind-blowing the way people treat each other in times of adversity...

It's recently been made into a movie too but I'm reticent to go see it...
Ada Emihe: Thanks so much funmi....I am looking for that book right now. You speak french? I am so jealous! lol..smile. When I find the book we need to talk about it.

soz but i read very littlesad but i like looking at photos and this is greatsmile just one wee thing the book looks a tad over exposed is it my monitor or something you were happy with?
Ada Emihe: lol...I know what you mean Tim. U are right...The book could be a light itself. lol..
Nice candid shot of a women engrossed in reading. It's something I can relate to too, as reading a book is one of life's true pleasures.

I like the b&w treatment here.
Ada Emihe: Thanks so much Karima..look forward to seeing you again on here.

I wrote my comment before reading that of Ms. Omotade so find it rather interesting that you should get two Saramago recommendations, one being the sequel of the other.
This means you have to read both.

I like the photo especially the composition. I struggle with lighting and exposure in my pics so I notice this in others'. The book and her left leg look overexposed.
Ada Emihe: Thanks Boye..
