Was wondering about the rule concerning parking by fire hydrants. In new york city you can't park by a fire hydrant or ten feet from it, or else you get a hot steaming ticket. Guess this law doesn't apply to bicycles, but I'm thinking how inconviniencing it would be if there was actually a fire and the fire department had to use this fire hydrant...They'ld probably smash that bike to bits...

Not a very smart move I say...The picture is a bit blurry..did you shake? Play around with the setings on your camera...the ISO and apperture.
Ada Emihe: Yeah...I did something terrible to my camera that day.Played around with the settings..lol..good eye. thanks alot etomi...
Very nice capture. There is a lack of sharpness but I love the vibrant colours!

well spottted shot
lovely colours
great journalism

regarding changes for this exposure, i'd've started with the iso
it's a tad overexposed so i'll reduce the iso to 100 (gets rid of grain anyways, and there's always enough light on a sunny day to not need anything higher)
next if needed, i'll widen the aperture/reduce it's numerical value (as there's no need for such a large depth of field in this pic) so as to have freedom to increase the shutter speed if needed
however, i don't think the blurriness here can be alluded to your exposure settings or even shake
my guess is some loss of resolution during post processing, saving, resizing or uploading

ps. playing around with the settings on your camera is not a terrible thing...
...it's the bestest/fastestest way to learn smile
Take a picture of yourself in the mirror showing how you hold the camera and send it to us. Your stance is definitely not good enough if you getting a blurry image at 1/100s. Dang girl, when you going to start making that camera sing? Getting really disappointed in you here sad
Ada Emihe: Sorry you are dissapointed suby
lol @ suby's comment
