This is a man who knows how to go through life with a smile on his face. He will never let you leave without a smile on your face. I whipped out my camera to take his potrait and he said ; " My face will break your camera" Me: "No it won't Lee, it's ugly proof".................... He chuckled. He promptly messed around with his shirt and I took the shot. This is how I want to remember Lee; Head tilted to one side, funny expression on his face. Why? you might ask. That's him right there in the picture, not just a potrait but everything that he is.

I took a shot of her and I didn't even study her facial expression before I took the photograph, but I spent hours looking at the picture on my camera. Her eyes, to me, are filled with some sort of story. I might be wrong but her eyes hold so much sadness. I think back to when I was a kid, which wasn't too long ago, and savour the memories of my carefree attitude. I realize that in our world today children have seen a lot more than they can handle....they've experienced things we can't even imagine. With everything that happens in the world today it's any wonder how we can all stay sane. This will be the last of this series. Thank you all for your comments and time. : D

Had a stare down competition with this dude!!! Guess who won! He did! He is a feisty kid. I think his expression is priceless. I wish I could go through my kiddy album and find a pic like this, but no chance. My kiddy album consits of pictures of me and my teeth.

Most of these images are potraits. So I hope I dont bore you and I also hope it all makes sense. This is a friend of mine. Really strong lady in my Imho. ps: I got a new camera people...A lovely Nikon as usual..not a new model but it is an amazing camera.

I saw her as I tried to get into the subway station. I read the sighn she was holding and walked towards her. The most interesting thing about her was she just stared down and and didn't look up once. I decided to hand her money rather than drop it into the cup in front of her. She smiled at me and thanked me. I asked her were she was going and she told me she needed to get to Canada to see the father of her unborn child to tell him she was pregnant. I wasn't too sure what to make of it, because I had passed someone with the exact same sighn earlier. After our conversation, I asked if I could take her picture and explained my reasons. She was skeptical, and replied.."If you wanna".... then promptly looked down. I walked up to her after taking just two shots; cause I got really uncomfortable. ...I thanked her and handed her another dollar, but this time she didn't look up..... Ps: This series to me is not just take photoraphs. But I am hoping this speaks to us all and makes us all aware of what's out there. A little love goes a long way. Please I would like you to take a look at Steve Paxtons series on the homeless on his website, if you can http://paxtonprints.com/index.php?x=browseandcategory=10andpagenum=1 ......really inspiring, and he has so many amazing shots.
